It was announced during EA Play Live 2020 that the Sims 4 will be coming to Steam, available now. The Sims 4 has been available for PC players through EA's Origin launcher and store. EA/Maxis has released Sims 4 and all it's packs on Steam on June 18th 2020. This doesn't mean you need to re-buy everything. Origin works just like before. I would actually advise against buying it on Steam again if you already have it on Origin. The Steam version also needs Origin so the advantages are small. I put together a FAQ below.

Please make sure you have SteamVR installed & opened, otherwise the game wont work!
Make sure to install the Multiplayer fix files below, just drag all the contents of the fix into the games main folder, once done, open Steam and run the games Exe and Enjoy! Mac os mountain lion download.
- NOTE: This game is already pre-installed for you, meaning you don't have to install it. If you get any missing dll errors, make sure to look for a _Redist folder in the download and install directx, vcredist and all other softwares in that folder. Also always disable your anti virus before extracting the game to prevent it from deleting the crack files. Also, be sure to right click the exe and always select 'Run as administrator' if you're having problems saving the game.
